Our affinity
for detail

Our quality craftsmanship ensures your custom-built aluminium boat optimises performance, maximises comfort and never compromises on safety.

Superior craftmanship

We take great pride in ensuring each aluminium plate, tack and weld is perfectly placed – we don’t rely on great paint work to hide sub-par construction.

Our boats are built only by highly experienced owner-operator, Kieran Raupi - and he's not your average welder.

Kieran's a qualified Aluminium Boat Builder and an AS/NZS Certified Welder who has held international accreditation in aluminium welding to work on some of the world's most prominent superyachts and commercial vessels.

Meaning Affinity boats aren't just designed to New Zealand Marine Industry standards but built to them too – an important difference.

Personalised
to your liking

We don’t design boats for a production line. We understand that our customers want the freedom to express their unique lifestyles.

All our boats are designed by qualified Naval Architects, so we encourage our customers to collaborate with us on many details and aspects of their boat to ensure it's to their specific tastes. Select your engine, upholstery finishes, colours, deck extras, electronics, fishing equipment and more.

Offshore
reliability

Safety is interwoven in every aspect of the design and build process of an Affinity.

Our hulls are built with sealed buoyancy compartments, fully welded across all seams and a cabin protected by a single piece of toughened curved glass - maintaining soft riding, stability at rest and maximum visibility on the water.

Built like a
superyacht

Aimed at the discerning boat owner, each Affinity boat is designed and built with a ‘superyacht’ approach - we’re uncompromising when it comes to using the best materials and finishes.

Our hulls and superstructures are built only with certified marine grade aluminium plate and coated with a premium paint system.

We source many of our other fittings and features from reputable New Zealand manufacturers and suppliers including the custom toughened safety glazing, electrical and plumbing systems.
